The Falls Church/NoVA Chinese Language Meetup Group was organized in June 2010 by Si-chi Huang. The purpose of the group is to organize cultural, educational, social function activities, and other shared activities with Chinese as the primary language of communication. This group is open to both native and non-native Chinese speakers. Language learners of all levels are welcomed.

In 2001 I studied Chinese calligraphy at the Smithsonian Resident Associates with an artist from Shanghai. That summer I enrolled in Chinese language courses at the Northern Virginia Community College. I have been studying Chinese ever since.
